Sharon Meadows wetland

The Sharon Meadows wetland was completed in 2017 with the help of Sharon Heights neighbors (The Friends of Sharon Meadows Park, led by Patsy Deerhake). Their hard work created a beautiful showcase!

An early visitor came for a drink.

Bluebird boxes were installed as part of the project.

The wetlands support a wide variety of native plants like this wild senna (Senna hebecarpa)

The park, in the Sharon Heights area of Clintonville, is on the former site of a Columbus school building. The school grounds have been repurposed as a neighborhood park.
