Water Quality

This section of the river runs upto 11 square miles and it covers around 78.1 of the river surface is impervious. The main cause of non-attainment is nutrient and pathogen loading and elevated stream discharge urban. The primary causes of this are run-off from the OSU golf course, the golf course dam, other run-off from urban areas. A plan of action includes working with the OSU golf course to reduce pesticide use and reduce run-off into the stream.
