Carmack Woods

Carmark Woods is located on OSU's west campus, just west of Kenny Road and south of Carmack Rd.

Carmack contains a permanent pool in its wooded wetlands which is a home to breeding salamanders. The woods were a subject for an OSU capstone project. The team did a partial wetland delineation and also removed a lot of honeysuckle and trash from the eastern third of the woods. Aquadoc cut some of the honeysuckle and OSU and FLOW removed the rest. See below for the full capstone report.
