Flint Run

The mouth of Flint Run is at river mile 12.15, near the Josephinum College.

This watershed is a high priority for Stormwater Management. This is a sample image from an evaluation done along Olenbrook with regard to erosion issues.

8675 Olenbrook, Lewis Center along Flint Run is represented by the orange push pin in the center of the screen. The yellow line adjacent to the push pin is from USGS’s National Hydrography DataSet. This extensive area of development has no stormwater detention that was observed, so it is likely that all the runoff is discharged to Flint Run. The heavy rain year of 2011 could have caused extensive runoff/erosion.
